Puppycourse

Group lessons with a maximum of 4 course participants (8 lessons of 1 hour each)

You can join the puppycourse if your dog has an age between 8 weeks old up to a maximum of 20 weeks old.

The main language that will be spoken during the lessons is Dutch, but it’s possible to translate things to English during the excercises if it’s not clear for you.

The puppy course is suitable if you are looking for small group lessons with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 participants. Everything will be taught to your pup in a positive way and because the group is small, there is a lot of personal attention for you and your pup. During the lessons the bond between you and your puppy is central. Mutual trust and understanding is very important. You learn to understand your pup and know what your pup needs to grow into a stable and social dog. Together you will become a strong team!

What is covered during the puppy course:

  • Getting your dog’s attention (and keeping it)
  • Important basic commands such as: sit, lie down and come here
  • Walking without pulling
  • The importance of  ‘timing’
  • Socializing with people (what to watch out for)
  • Socializing with other dogs (what to watch out for)
  • Specific things you would like to learn
  • Understanding your dog and knowing what he/she needs

The lesson location of the puppy course is on a field in Heeze as of January 1 2024. After 8 lessons you and your dog receive together a certificate.

Behavioural therapy

First consult and follow-up consult (2,5 -3 hours, spread over two appointments)

Suitable for 1 and a maximum of 3 behavior problems (including agression towards humans and dogs)

A first consult and follow-up consult is suitable if you experience behavioural problems with your dog. In preparation for the consult you will receive a questionnaire by e-mail (or by post). Next will be a consultation at your home. Here I can observe your dog and collect missing information. I look at the cause (or causes) of the behavioural problem you have experienced and determine a diagnosis (what is the exact problem). Together with you I will make a fitting therapy plan. I will make a report of this and send it to you within 1 – 2 weeks. Four weeks later a follow-up consultation will take place. We will then look at the progress so far and whether any additions or adjustments are needed for the therapy plan. We plan the follow-up consultation at the end of the first consultation. Private lesson

Individual puppy course (6 lessons of each 1 hour)

You can join with your puppy the individual puppy training when your puppy is 8 weeks old and up to 20 weeks old at the start of classes.

Individual puppy training is suitable for puppies who have difficulty concentrating during a group lesson and are easily overstimulated. By starting the training first at your home in a quiet low stimulation environment, we can quickly teach your puppy commands and also lay a good foundation in education. Later in the training we can also practice in other locations if you prefer, such as the forest/park. Everything is taught to your pup in a positive way and during the lessons the bond between you and your pup is central. Mutual trust and understanding is very important. You will learn to understand your pup and know what your pup needs to grow into a stable and social dog. Together you will become a close team. Because of the individual puppy training, you and your pup have full attention and we can work on things you find most important. The lesson program can therefore be adapted to your needs. The pace of the lessons is completely adapted to what your puppy can handle.

The lessons are weekly (weekdays during the day). In consultation, twice a week is also possible.

In between the lessons you can also ask questions via what’s app or email. At the end of the individual puppy training you will also receive a certificate together with your puppy.

Individual walking service

This service is not available at the moment. It’s full!

Individual walking(s)

Claudia, Lotje en RubyThe individual walking service is suitable if your dog can not go along with a dog walking service and you can not arrange someone else to do the walking for you. There are various reasons why some dogs can not join a group. For example, they are prone to overstimulation,  anxious, fall out to other dogs, still young (physical strain) or have physical limitations due to their age and/or medical problems. You want your four-legged friend to have a pleasant walk, be safe and receive professional guidance. If your dog experiences problem behaviour, which manifests itself during the walk, I can immediately start working on it. It is therefore wise to schedule a consultation as well, so that further investigation can be conducted as to the cause of this behaviour and how to solve it (see One-time consult and First consult and follow-up consult). The duration of a walk depends on the dog itself. If you live in Eindhoven or surroundings you can make use of this service.

Purchase advice

A telephone consultation is suitable if you need advice regarding the purchase of a dog. It is important to make an informed choice when you intend to buy a dog. Which breed suits you and your living situation best and where do you get the dog from? I can guide you in making the right choice.
